These famous carnivorous plants have a sweet smelling nectar that attracts small insects. Once inside, the plant's mouth snaps shut, trapping the insect making it easy to digest. 
 
Planting mix must be kept damp at all times. Placing the plant in a tray of distilled water is recommended.
